Calories

Eating fewer calories than you burn is absolutely, irrevocably necessary for fat loss.

But it C.O.M.E.S. L.A.S.T.

It is no use struggling to eat less when fat isn’t burning for the reasons we’ve seen previously, or when fighting a steep, uphill battle with hunger and fatigue.

Calories and fat loss

First, you concentrate on increasing lipolysis, improving digestion, controlling hunger, enabling cellular renewal, and a few other things you’ll read about in Understand Fat Loss…  Then you can start decreasing calorie intake without struggling and expect results in return.

People that “try diets” go straight to the last parts (calories and exercise), aren’t ready for them and quit.

You don’t suffer from hunger when you’ve learned to understand and control it.

You don’t suffer from fatigue when you’ve increased lipolysis (burning fat for energy).

You do not cut down so much when you’ve improved cellular renewal and naturally burn more calories.

You don’t get bored with your diet when it allows for enough calories for variety and normal eating behavior.

And you do not give up when you do not suffer from hunger, fatigue, or boredom.

After under-estimating your body’s complexity, the second biggest mistake you can make is jump into a low calorie diet without preparation.  The success rate is close to 0%.

Just as the success rate of hitting the gym is about 0% (the huge majority of fit people you see there were never fat).
