Metabolism

Your body’s cells have a life cycle and are renewed when they die.

Increasing renewal, making the new cells healthier and more dynamic, optimizes fat loss.

Poor cellular renewal causes premature aging and sharp decreasing of your metabolism.  The repercussions obviously go beyond hindering your efforts to lose fat.

You can make a big difference by just adding a few (or one amongst a few) foods to your diet.

Each cell that isn’t renewed takes you one step closer to an older, less efficient body. Depending on the type of cell, the effects on your health can vary, but in all cases a non-replaced cell, or one that is replaced by a weaker cell causes a lower basal metabolic rate.

Obviously, optimizing it therefore increases your metabolism, enhances fat loss and makes you healthier.

This gives understanding cellular renewal a key role in your plan to get lean and healthy.  It may seem secondary, but no more secondary than a faster engine.  It speeds things up considerably, which in turn gives some space to eat more comfortably and still make fast progress.

Overlooking it forces you to restrain food intake that much more and this makes it that much more difficult on the long run.
